Finding strings you prefer is much cheaper than experimenting with guitar wood so I'd recommend if you want a warm guitar, go with something with a Cedar top. They'll give you the most bang for your buck. So if you’re looking for something that won’t cost too much but is still of decent quality then these are worth checking out. Helps balance them out. They are parlor shaped guitars, which has a smaller body but are full scale and sound great, especially fingerpicked. It'll be closer in quality and build to a real Martin D18/D28. I much prefer Nanoweb or D'Addario EXP coating that coats the wrapping prior to winding them around the string as opposed to Polyweb that just coats the string after it's been wound.
